Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled

Senior Data Architect

with expertise in

Snowflake, SQL, ETL/ELT, and Data Warehousing

to design, implement, and optimize complex data models and analytical solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong

data modeling experience

and a deep understanding of

enterprise data architecture

to support large-scale analytical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Oversee the

    design and architecture

    of new applications, including

    data flows, diagrams, models, and prototypes

    .

  • Create

    technical documentation

    and provide training and support as needed.

  • Collaborate with

    systems analysts, software developers, and data managers

    to ensure successful analytical solution production.

  • Develop and optimize

    logical and physical data models

    for relational and dimensional databases.

  • Ensure

    seamless integration of new and existing systems

    to maintain data structure and integrity.

  • Participate in

    data gathering

    from stakeholders to meet solution needs.

  • Provide

    technical leadership

    in data modeling, assisting and mentoring

    Data Modelers and Data Architects

    .

  • Evaluate and

    modernize legacy data models

    for application development.

  • Work with development teams to

    implement data warehousing

    and reporting solutions.

  • Define and manage

    data cleaning requirements

    to ensure high-quality data.

  • Offer

    viable solutions for data architecture

    , resolving complex business requirements.


Qualifications & Skills:



  • 11-14 years of data experience

    , including at least

    5 years in Data Modeling

    .

  • Strong expertise in

    Snowflake, SQL, ETL/ELT, and Data Warehousing solutions

    .

  • Hands-on experience in

    logical and physical data modeling

    with

    ER modeling tools

    (e.g., ERWin, ER/Studio).

  • Proficiency in

    SQL, data access layer design, and RDBMS platforms

    (SQL Server, DB2).

  • Experience in

    data curation, aggregation, and preparation

    for visualization tools like

    Cognos, Tableau, or Power BI

    .

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skills

    for large-scale analytical solutions.

  • Ability to

    lead and mentor development teams

    in

    application software design and implementation

    .

  • Excellent

    verbal and written communication

    skills to interact with cross-functional teams.

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in

    Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field

    .


Preferred Skills:



  • Experience with

    enterprise data management and big data architectures

    .

  • Familiarity with

    cloud-based data platforms and technologies

    .

  • Strong understanding of

    data governance and security best practices

    .
