About the Role:

Data Modeler

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into

  logical, conceptual, and physical data models

  .
• Design

  database schemas, entity-relationship diagrams, and dimensional models

  for OLTP and OLAP systems.
• Collaborate with

  data architects, developers, and analysts

  to ensure models meet performance, scalability, and data quality standards.
• Maintain

  metadata, data dictionaries, and documentation

  for all data models.
• Review and validate database structures, ETL processes, and application data flows.
  
• Optimize existing data models for

  query performance, storage efficiency, and maintainability

  .
• Ensure

  data consistency, integrity, and compliance

  with governance standards.
• Support

  data warehousing, BI, and analytics projects

  with accurate data modeling.
• Stay updated with

  industry trends, best practices, and emerging data modeling tools

  .

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree

  in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field.

• 3–8+ years

  of experience in data modeling, database design, or data architecture.
• Strong knowledge of

  relational databases (RDBMS)

  such as

  Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL

  .
• Experience with

  dimensional modeling and data warehousing concepts

  .
• Proficiency in

  data modeling tools

  such as

  Erwin, PowerDesigner, IBM InfoSphere Data Architect, Sparx Enterprise Architect, or SQL Developer Data Modeler

  .
• Understanding of

  ETL processes, data integration, and data quality principles

  .
• Knowledge of

  NoSQL databases

  (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB) is a plus.
• Familiarity with

  SQL, PL/SQL, or T-SQL

  for validating data models.
