SAP Data Migration Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end

  SAP data migration strategy, design, and execution

  for SAP implementations and conversions (ECC to S/4HANA).
• Define data migration architecture, standards, and governance frameworks.
  
• Design and oversee data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading processes.
  
• Work extensively with

  SAP BODS

  ,

  Syniti (ADM & ADMM)

  tools.
• Collaborate with functional, technical, and business teams to understand data requirements.
  
• Define data objects, mapping specifications, reconciliation, and validation rules.
  
• Manage mock loads, cutover planning, and production migration activities.
  
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance throughout the migration lifecycle.
  
• Provide guidance and mentoring to data migration teams.
  
• Identify risks and proactively resolve data-related issues.
  
• Coordinate with stakeholders for sign-offs and reporting.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience as a

  SAP Data Migration Architect / Lead

  .
• Hands-on expertise in:
  

• SAP Data Services (BODS)

• Syniti ADM

• Syniti ADMM

• Experience in

  SAP ECC and S/4HANA

  data models.
• Strong understanding of SAP modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, etc.).
  
• Experience with large-scale data migration programs.
  
• Knowledge of data cleansing, profiling, reconciliation, and validation techniques.
  
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multiple SAP S/4HANA transformation projects.
  
• SAP or Syniti certifications are a plus.
  
• Experience in onshore-offshore delivery models.
  
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
