Job Description

Cigna Medical Group is looking for Data Management Strategy & Governance Advisor to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey.
Lead the development and implementation of data management strategies, frameworks, and policies across the organization. Drive data governance initiatives, including data quality, metadata management, master data management, and data stewardship practices. Collaborate with business and technical teams to define and enforce standards for data access, usage, and compliance. Advise leadership on best practices in data lifecycle management, data architecture alignment, and regulatory compliance. Oversee data issue resolution processes and support audits related to data accuracy and privacy regulations (e. g. , GDPR, HIPAA). Facilitate data governance councils or committees to promote accountability and cross - functional alignment. Develop training materials and lead workshops to promote data literacy and awareness of governance protocols. Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the organizations data strategy maturity
