Job Summary :

The Data Entry Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the data entry team, ensuring all stock, purchase, and sales data are recorded accurately and on time. This role plays a key part in maintaining data integrity across warehouse and retail systems, supporting management reporting, and coordinating with other departments.

Key Responsibilities

· Supervise and guide the data entry team in daily stock and sales data entry.

· Verify and approve all product entries — GRN, stock-in, stock-out, and transfer data.

· Ensure accuracy in item codes, design numbers, colors, sizes, quantities, and rates.

· Cross-check purchase bills and GRNs before system entry.

· Verify and update item master data including SKU codes, price changes, and stock adjustments.

· Regularly reconcile system stock with physical stock.

· Coordinate with the Purchase, Sales, and Accounts teams for data verification.

· Conduct daily and weekly data audits to identify and correct errors.

· Prepare daily stock movement and MIS reports for management review.

· Ensure barcode details and item masters are correctly maintained.

· Train new data entry staff on software usage and company data standards.

· Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of store and customer information.

Skills Required

· Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and database systems.

· Knowledge of ERP, SAP, Tally, or other data management software is an advantage.

· Strong understanding of garment SKUs, color/size variants, and inventory flow.

· Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership abilities.

· Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Computer Science, or a related field.

· 3–5 years of data entry experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.

· Experience in garment retail or warehouse operations preferred.

Salary :

₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month (based on experience
