Job Description: Data Entry Operator – Regulatory Affairs & CompliancePosition Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and reliable Data Entry Operator to join our Regulatory Affairs and Compliance team. The primary responsibility of this role is to accurately enter, update, and manage data across various online platforms, particularly for government licensing, statutory filings, certifications, and compliance-related documentation. This role plays a crucial part in supporting regulatory submissions, ensuring compliance with timelines, and maintaining accurate records for audits and inspections.

The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, the ability to follow structured processes, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Form Filling & Submissions:
  • Accurately complete online forms, portals, and applications for government licenses, permits, certifications, and compliance approvals.
  • Ensure correct uploading of supporting documents in the required formats (PDF, scanned copies, etc.).
  • Track submission progress and follow up on acknowledgments, receipts, and status updates from authorities.
  • Data Accuracy & Maintenance:
  • Enter data with a high level of accuracy while ensuring consistency with internal records and client-provided information.
  • Validate and cross-check all entries to avoid discrepancies in government filings.
  • Maintain electronic and physical records of all submitted forms, receipts, and acknowledgments in a well-structured manner for audit readiness.
  • Compliance Support:
  • Assist the Regulatory Affairs team in preparing data for statutory filings and regulatory submissions.
  • Support compliance officers by ensuring all submissions are made within stipulated deadlines.
  • Maintain a calendar of renewal dates for licenses, permits, and certifications and provide timely reminders to the concerned teams.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Generate periodic reports summarizing submissions, approvals, pending tasks, and rejections (if any).
  • Assist in compiling data for audits, regulatory inspections, and client reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy standards and maintain strict confidentiality of client and organizational information.
  • Process Adherence:
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data entry, form submission, and record-keeping.
  • Report errors, inconsistencies, or issues in data to supervisors immediately.
  • Contribute to process improvements by providing feedback on form-filling systems and submission challenges.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (in Commerce, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related fields).
  • Candidates with relevant diplomas/certifications in data entry, office management, or regulatory compliance will also be considered.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Hands-on experience with government portals, e-filing systems, and online application platforms is highly desirable.
  • Typing speed of at least 40 WPM with high accuracy.
  • Basic knowledge of document conversion tools (scanning, PDF management, file compression).
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to follow instructions meticulously.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in data entry, administrative support, or documentation in a regulatory, legal, or compliance-focused environment.
  • Prior exposure to government licensing, statutory filings, or e-governance portals will be a strong advantage.

Work Environment

  • Office-based or hybrid (depending on organizational policies).
  • Fast-paced environment requiring adherence to strict timelines.
  • Close collaboration with compliance officers, regulatory specialists, and clients.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
