Job Title: CMS & Data Entry Operator (Crew Management)

Shift Pattern: 8/Hour Rotational Shifts (Includes Night Shifts)

1. Position Overview

The candidate will be responsible for managing the digital and physical movement of railway crew (Loco Pilots, Guards, and Shunters). This role requires high accuracy in data entry and the ability to manage technical tools and equipment used by the crew.

2. Key Responsibilities

• CMS Operations: Manage the Crew Management System (CMS) software to "Sign-ON" and "Sign-OFF" running staff.
• Crew Booking: Arrange and assign crew members for train duties based on availability, seniority, and rest rules.
• Data Management: Accurate entry of mileage, overtime, and duty hours into the railway database.
• Tools & Kit Management: * Issue and collect Breathalyzer equipment for alcohol testing.
• Manage the inventory of "Line Boxes" or safety kits (Walkie-talkies, flags, torches).
• Maintain a register of tools issued and ensure they are in working condition.
• Communication: Coordinate with Train Controllers and Station Masters regarding crew requirements and delays.

3. Technical & Mandatory Requirements

• Education: Minimum 12th Pass (Higher Secondary) or Graduate.
• Technical Skills: * Fast and accurate typing speed (minimum 30-35 wpm).
• Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel is a must).
• Ability to quickly learn specialized Railway CMS software.
• Compliance: * Must have a Clean Police Verification record.
• Basic understanding of railway terminology is a plus.

4. Soft Skills

• Punctuality: Railway operations are time-sensitive; being on time for shifts is mandatory.
• Alertness: Ability to remain focused during night shifts.
• Conflict Management: Ability to handle pressure when dealing with tired crew members during Sign-OFF.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: Up to ₹18,000.00 per month
