Description
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) /Databricks for data integration and ETL processes. Additionally, you will design, implement, and optimize Power BI /Fabric reports and dashboards to provide actionable business insights. Collaboration with data analysts, business users, and other teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions using ADF and Power BI is also a key aspect of your role. Your responsibilities will include extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from various sources into cloud-based storage systems such as Azure Data Lake or Azure SQL Database. Working with large datasets and optimizing queries and pipelines for performance and scalability will be part of your daily tasks. Ensuring data quality, integrity, and availability throughout the data lifecycle, automating repetitive data tasks, monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines, and supporting data visualization and reporting tools are also crucial responsibilities. You will be expected to write clear, efficient, and maintainable code for data transformations and automation. - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required. - 8+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering, BI Developer, or a similar role is necessary. - Proficiency with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Power BI is essential. - Strong experience in SQL, database management, cloud platforms, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes is required. - Familiarity with Azure Data Lake, Azure Blob Storage, and programming skills in languages such as Python, SQL, or other relevant languages is a must. - Ability to troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability is crucial.
