Job Description

Job Title: Data Engineer Databricks

Exp-2-6yrs

Location- Hyderabad

Role Summary:

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Databricks-based data pipelines, data models, and ETL/ELT processes.
Collaborate with senior engineers and architects to ensure high-quality solution design.
Implement data ingestion strategies using Auto Loader, Delta Live Tables (DLT), and other Databricks-native tools.
Optimize Spark jobs and Databricks cluster usage for cost and performance.
Ensure adherence to best practices in data governance, security, and compliance.
Debug, troubleshoot, and support pipelines in production environments.
Contribute to re-usable frameworks and tools development where applicable.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
1–3 years of hands-on experience with Databricks development.
Solid experience with Spark SQL, data modeling, and building ETL/ELT pipelines.
Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience with scripting (Python or Scala preferred).
Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to own tasks from design to delivery.

Skill Matrix:

Core: Databricks (Delta Lake, Auto Loader, Spark SQL), ETL/ELT processes, DBT, Python/Scala
Platform: AWS/Azure/GCP basics, Data Pipelines, Data Governance principles
Good to have: Work with reusable frameworks, accelerators, and automation in Databricks
Communication Skill- Excellent
