Roles & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL workflows, and data integration solutions
Work with diverse structured and unstructured data sources to ensure accurate and efficient data ingestion
Write and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting and analytics
Develop data processing solutions using Python/PySpark
Build and manage data workflows using
Apache Airflow
and
AWS Glue
Integrate and transform data within
Snowflake
,
Databricks
, and other modern data platforms
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements
Implement data quality, data governance, and data security best practices
Troubleshoot performance issues, optimize pipelines, and ensure high system reliability

Required Skills

5+ years of proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
Strong programming skills in
Python/PySpark
Hands-on experience with
AWS Glue
,
Snowflake
, and modern data platforms
Proficiency in
SQL
and data modeling concepts
Experience with ETL tools such as
Informatica
,
Dataiku
, or equivalent
Strong understanding and experience with
Apache Airflow
Familiarity with
Databricks
and cloud-based data ecosystems
Mandatory:
Prior experience working in the
Healthcare/Pharma/Life Sciences
domain

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in handling large-scale data architectures
Exposure to data governance and compliance frameworks within pharma
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
