Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and maintain

  ETL/ELT pipelines

  using

  Dataiku

  and SQL-based transformations.
• Work with

  pharma and life sciences data

  — including clinical trials, patient data, drug safety, and sales datasets.
• Integrate data from multiple systems like

  ERP, CRM, laboratory systems

  , and external data providers.
• Build and manage

  Dataiku workflows, recipes, and automation scenarios

  for analytics and reporting.
• Ensure

  data quality, lineage, and regulatory compliance

  (GxP, HIPAA, GDPR).
• Collaborate with

  data scientists

  to operationalize predictive and AI/ML models within Dataiku.
• Design and maintain

  data models, schemas, and optimized SQL queries

  for large-scale processing.
• Document pipelines, workflows, and metadata for

  audit and reproducibility

  .

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience in

  Dataiku DSS

  (flows, recipes, scenarios, automation).
• Strong

  SQL development

  and performance tuning skills.
• Experience with

  ETL / Data Warehousing

  and

  data integration

  best practices.
• Domain knowledge in

  Pharma / Life Sciences

  , with understanding of

  CDISC, SDTM, HL7, LOINC, MedDRA

  (preferred).
• Familiarity with

  relational databases

  such as

  Snowflake, Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server

  .
• Exposure to

  Python or Spark

  for data manipulation (nice to have).
• Strong understanding of

  data governance, compliance, and quality frameworks

  .
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
