Job Summary

Senior Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering & ETL

• Manage day-to-day data operations ensuring high-quality delivery aligned with business needs
  
• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize ETL pipelines using

  Dataiku

• Develop and optimize complex analytical SQL queries on

  Snowflake

• Ensure performance, scalability, reliability, and security of data pipelines
  
• Continuously review and improve data processes to enhance efficiency and reduce risk
  

Data Governance & Quality

• Establish and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures
  
• Monitor data quality metrics and proactively identify issues
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions
  
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance across systems
  

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with onshore stakeholders including Data & Analytics leaders, Business Units, and IT teams
  
• Translate business requirements into scalable and reliable technical solutions
  
• Maintain strong working relationships with onshore and offshore teams for seamless delivery
  

Reporting & Leadership

• Manage offshore reporting teams responsible for dashboards and reports
  
• Oversee development of dashboards that deliver actionable business insights
  
• Lead governance meetings and publish regular status reports
  
• Communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership
  
• Prepare presentations, reports, and executive updates summarizing value delivered
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with

  ETL tools (Dataiku mandatory)

• Advanced SQL expertise with

  Snowflake

  (mandatory)
• Experience with other databases such as

  MS SQL Server, Oracle

• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL frameworks
  
• Experience optimizing large-scale data pipelines and queries
  

Experience & Education

• Bachelors degree in

  Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

• 3-5 years of experience

  in Data Engineering and ETL development
• Experience working in a collaborative, global delivery model
  

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
  
• Proven leadership skills in managing offshore teams
  
• Detail-oriented with a focus on data quality and governance
