Data Engineer

Description

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in data engineering, with experience in building and managing data pipelines and optimizing data flows.

Responsibilities

• Design, construct, install, and maintain large-scale processing systems and other infrastructure.
• Develop data set processes for data modeling, mining, and production.
• Integrate new data management technologies and software engineering tools into existing structures.
• Collaborate with data architects and data scientists to understand data needs and ensure data availability.
• Build and maintain data pipelines that support data ingestion, transformation, and storage.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-9 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery).
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Knowledge of ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache NiFi, Talend, Informatica).
• Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
• Understanding of data modeling and data architecture concepts.
