DATA ENGINEER

As a Technical Specialist Data Services at our company, your primary responsibility will be to work on data pipelines and engineering project delivery from a technical perspective. Your day-to-day activities will include creating and supporting data pipelines, solving production and pre-production issues, and working on change, incidents, problems, and service improvement initiatives. You will play a proactive role in supporting the Emerging Services estate as a member of a global database support team. Additionally, you will need to have expert level skills in AWS/Azure Cloud devops, including working on Terraform, Lambda (Python and Java), building microservices, and CICD pipelines. Experience with technologies like NiFi, Spark, and Kafka will be beneficial for this role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and develop secure data pipelines. - Provide 24x7 support for Production Emerging Data Services estate. - Strategize data migration from Data Centre to Cloud. - Automation and process improvement. - Rapid response to address high severity incidents. - Support and delivery of assigned project work. - Proactive issue detection and resolution. - Collaborate with other Business and Technology teams. **Experience And Qualifications Required:** - Excellent Cloud Devops Engineer with experience in supporting CICD Pipeline using Terraform and cloud formation. - Working experience on Lambda, microservices, and API. - Data migration experience using NiFi, Spark, Kafka, and Oracle Golden-Gate. - Proficient in ITIL processes. **Interpersonal Skills:** - A good team player. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Good analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to adapt to changing business needs and learn new skills quickly. - Customer-focused with a strong service ethic. **Technical Skills:** - Above 6 years of progressive working knowledge as a Devops data engineer. - Hands-on experience with NiFi, Kafka, Spark, Cloud (AWS/Azure), Terraform, Lambda (Python/Java), Cloud formation. - Performance tuning with Data Pipelines. - Basic knowledge of Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server. **Required Skills and Experience:** - Industry: IT/Computers-Software - Role: DATA ENGINEER AWS, PYTHON, TERRAFORM - Key Skills: Data Engineer, AWS, Python, AWS Dynamo DB, AWS S3, Cloud Computing, AWS ECS, AWS Codebuild - Education: B.Sc/B.Com/M.Sc/MCA/B.E/B.Tech Please feel free to reach out to us at Resume.Augusta@augustainfotech.com for any further queries or to apply for this position.,
