Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Legacy Data Management:

Extract, transform(cleaning and validation), and load (ETL) data from legacy systems via python into modern data platforms.
Develop and maintain processes for data ingestion and integration from various legacy sources.
Strong knowledge of ETL processes and tools

Data Cleansing:

Identify, analyze, and rectify data quality issues within legacy datasets.
Implement data cleansing techniques and best practices to enhance data accuracy and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data quality metrics and standards.
Candidate from insurance or underwriting

Performance Review:

Conduct performance reviews of SQL queries and data processing jobs to identify optimization opportunities.
Collaborate with data analysts and other stakeholders to improve query performance and reduce processing times.

Prerequisites:

Qualification B.Tech/MCA

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role, with a focus on legacy datasets.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with query optimization techniques.
Experience with data cleansing tools and methodologies.
Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.

Base Location:

Working Hours: Till Noon Overlap with New York timings
