Key Skills:

Roles and Responsibilities:

Design and develop data pipelines using Azure SQL for efficient data processing, storage, and accessibility.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
Optimize and maintain existing data architectures, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance improvements.
Implement and maintain data governance, metadata management, and security controls to safeguard confidential and sensitive data.
Troubleshoot data issues and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability across systems.
Stay updated with the latest Azure and data engineering trends, recommending new tools and methods to enhance efficiency.

Skills Required:

Technical Skills

Strong expertise in Azure SQL for data modeling, ETL, and performance tuning
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL workflows, and data pipeline design
Experience with Azure Databricks (development and optimization) (added advantage)
Proficiency in SQL programming and query optimization
Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, and Azure Data Lake (preferred but not mandatory)
Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance practices
Familiarity with Power BI/Tableau for supporting reporting requirements (optional)

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and collaboration skills across teams
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and efficiency
