About the Role:

Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using PySpark and Python
  
• Work with large-scale structured and unstructured data on AWS cloud infrastructure
  
• Develop and optimize ETL workflows and data integration solutions
  
• Design and manage data models in Snowflake and ensure high performance
  
• Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
  
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to understand data needs
  
• Implement data quality checks and ensure data governance best practices
  
• Contribute to the design of the overall data architecture and engineering best practices
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles
  
• Strong programming skills in

  Python

  and

  PySpark

• Deep understanding of

  AWS

  services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, etc.
• Proficient in

  SQL

  with experience in query tuning and optimization
• Hands-on experience with

  Snowflake

  data warehousing platform
• Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data modeling, and data warehousing best practices
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the

  Insurance

  or

  Banking

  domain
• Knowledge of data security and compliance in regulated industries
  
• Familiarity with DevOps or CI/CD tools for data pipelines
  
• Experience working in Agile environments
