Role Overview

MongoDB migrations

Key Responsibilities

Data Pipeline & Migration

• Design and build

  ETL pipelines

  for migrating

  party and relationship data

  across systems.
• Implement complex

  data transformations, mappings, and validation rules

  aligned with the

  enterprise data model

  .
• Define

  data contracts, schemas

  , and ensure consistency during

  CDC (Change Data Capture)

  or

  dual-write

  cutover phases.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain data ingestion processes using APIs,

  Kafka streaming

  , or batch frameworks ensuring high performance, scalability, and idempotency.
• Execute robust

  data quality checks, reconciliation workflows, and audit controls

  to ensure data completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.

Collaboration & Governance

• Work closely with

  data architects

  , business analysts, and application teams to ensure alignment between technical pipelines and business logic.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise

  data lineage

  , data governance, and security frameworks throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Participate in deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of ETL processes via

  CI/CD pipelines

  .

Technical Skills Required

• Strong proficiency in

  MongoDB

  , including schema design, performance tuning, and hands-on migration experience.
• Solid experience with

  SQL databases

  (Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Programming expertise in

  Python, Java, or Scala

  .
• Hands-on experience with data migration and ETL tools such as

  AWS Glue

  ,

  Apache Spark

  , and

  API-based integrations

  .
• Familiarity with

  Kafka

Experience

• 4-7 years

  Data Engineering

  (CRM, CDM, FCR) or similar highly regulated environments.
