Job Description

Role Overview: As a Data Confidentiality Protection Domain Specialist, your role will involve overseeing the organization's ability to maintain effective business activities in the face of cyber threats and within cyber and information security risk appetites. You will be responsible for raising cybersecurity awareness, driving cyber and information security and relevant data protection strategy and standards. Additionally, you will represent and champion best practices in cybersecurity to internal and external stakeholders and partners, with a commitment to delivering cyber security with a focus on innovation and effectiveness. Mentoring and training the next generation of cyber-crime and data protection experts, identifying and reporting process improvements, and keeping your own skills updated with new developments in the field will also be part of your responsibilities. You will design and operate an effective control environment, proactively identify and raise control deficiencies, and drive diligent and sustainable risk remediation through the development of a data protection security strategy. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the organization's ability to maintain effective business activities in the face of cyber threats and within cyber and information security risk appetites - Drive cyber and information security and relevant data protection strategy and standards - Represent and champion best practices in cybersecurity to internal and external stakeholders and partners - Mentor and train the next generation of cyber-crime and data protection experts - Identify and report process improvements within the scope of your work - Keep your skills updated with new developments in your field - Design and operate an effective control environment - Proactively identify and raise control deficiencies - Drive diligent and sustainable risk remediation through the development of data protection security strategy Qualifications Required: Essential: - Proven track record of 12+ years overall experience in IT and 5+ years experience in an equivalent role as a Tech Cyber Security Specialist - People management experience, people leadership, and development - Experience in data protection domain; hands-on experience with encryption and key management, data obfuscation, and unstructured data protection areas is a plus - Deep understanding of information security, with a depth and breadth of supporting technical knowledge within the ABAC domain being a plus - Experience in taking accountability for the challenges in your product portfolio - Proven leadership experience of 5+ years - Positive relationship building and consultation skills - Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with peers, management, key business partners, and clients - High standard of communication (verbal/written) at each level, including senior management level Desirable: - Experience in implementing security solutions in the financial industry - Global role experience in large scale institutions - Engineering or security certification is an advantage, such as CISSP, CISA, TOGAF, CSSLP, MCSE (Note: Additional details of the company were not provided in the job description.),
