Data Centre Infra Manager - Server

As a Server Administrator at Exide Energy Solutions Limited, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, configuring, and ensuring the reliable operation of computer systems and servers. Your responsibilities will include installing hardware and software, continuously improving backend servers/systems, and actively resolving problems to minimize work disruptions within the department. **Key Responsibilities:** - Configuration and installation of various servers (Physical and Virtual), SAN Storage, and Backup applications. - Creation of Users, Groups, and Mailboxes on O365 console. - Management of Windows and RHEL Servers (File, FTP, Print, etc.), SAN Switch, and Storage. - Monitoring performance to ensure system availability and reliability. - Providing Level 2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues. - Vendor Management. You will be responsible for configuring servers, administering operating systems, hardening, load balancers, firewalls, managing users, processes, resource contention, preventive maintenance, and updating & patch management. Additionally, you will lead the Data Center On-Prem and Cloud Servers, conduct periodic health checks, troubleshoot problems, and implement rectification measures. Your duties will also include installing and upgrading computer components and software, managing virtual servers, integrating automation processes, managing Active Directory, performing backups of servers and databases, and recovery processes. **Qualifications Required:** - Education: BE IT/CS, BSc Comp Sci/IT, or equivalent degree. - Experience: 7+ years of experience in Server Administration for both Windows and Linux. **Desired Skills:** *Functional:* - Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. - Ability to conduct research into networking issues and products. - Effective prioritization of tasks in high-pressure environments. - Strong customer service orientation and experience in a collaborative environment. *Behavioral:* - Excellent interpersonal communication, logical analysis, negotiation, and decision-making skills. - Strong planning, organizing, problem-solving, stress management, and time management abilities.
