Data Center Draughtsman

Role Summary:

Responsible for creating accurate AutoCAD drawings for data center infrastructure, including electrical, mechanical, architectural, ICT, and IBMS systems. Works closely with design engineers and project teams to ensure drawings meet project standards and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings: floor plans, elevations, sections, schematics.

• Draft electrical layouts (SLD, power distribution, cable routing, grounding).

• Prepare mechanical drawings (HVAC, ducting, piping, cooling systems).

• Create rack layouts, containment designs, and equipment deployment drawings.

• Update drawings based on engineer comments and client changes.

• Maintain drawing documentation, standards, and version control.

• Support preparation of as-built drawings and quantity take-offs.

Skills & Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma in Draughtsman (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical).

• Strong AutoCAD skills; Revit/BIM is an advantage.

• Knowledge of data center components (UPS, CRAC/CRAH, racks, PDUs, cable trays, etc.).

• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.

• Attention to detail, accuracy, and good coordination skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with data center or MEP drawings.

• Familiarity with standards like TIA-942, Uptime, ASHRAE, and electrical/mechanical codes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
