Job
Description
As a Data Architect with over 10 years of experience, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective data architectures using Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Your primary duties will involve leading the design and development of data pipelines with tools such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage. Additionally, you will be expected to architect and implement data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time data processing solutions on GCP while ensuring alignment with business goals, governance, and compliance requirements. Collaboration with stakeholders to define data strategy and roadmap will be a key aspect of your role, along with designing and deploying optimized BigQuery solutions for performance and cost efficiency. Building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data processing, leveraging tools like Cloud Pub/Sub, Dataflow, and Cloud Functions for real-time data integration, and implementing best practices for data security, privacy, and compliance in cloud environments are also significant responsibilities. Your expertise will be utilized to integrate machine learning workflows with data pipelines and analytics tools, define data governance frameworks, manage data lineage, and lead data modeling efforts to ensure consistency, accuracy, and performance across systems. Optimization of cloud infrastructure for scalability, performance, and reliability, as well as mentoring junior team members and ensuring adherence to architectural standards, will be essential to your role. Collaboration with DevOps teams to implement Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform and Cloud Deployment Manager, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery solutions in data systems, conducting technical reviews, audits, and performance tuning, and designing solutions for multi-region and multi-cloud data architecture are additional responsibilities. Staying updated on emerging technologies and trends in data engineering and GCP, driving innovation in data architecture by recommending new tools and services, and possessing Google Cloud Certification are preferred qualifications. Strong skills in BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, SQL, Python, data warehousing, data lakes, and real-time data pipelines, along with experience in cloud security, data governance, and compliance frameworks, are also required. Leadership experience, the ability to mentor technical teams, and excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for success in this role.,
