Senior Principal Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and design

  Generative AI solutions

  leveraging AWS services (e.g., Bedrock, S3, PGVector, Kendra, SageMaker).
• Collaborate with engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure robust and scalable solutions.
  
• Lead technical decision-making and resolve complex AI/ML challenges.
  
• Conduct solution reviews and ensure alignment with best practices and security policies.
  
• Guide solution governance and secure necessary architectural approvals.
  
• Integrate

  emerging technologies

  and frameworks (e.g., LangChain) into solution designs.
• Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  
• Create and maintain architectural documentation and design specifications.
  
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.
  
• Partner with data scientists and analysts to enable effective model development and deployment.
  
• Coordinate with stakeholders and clients to align data architecture with business objectives.
  
• Stay current with industry trends in AI, machine learning, data engineering, and cloud technologies.
  

Required Qualifications:

• 12–15 years

  of experience in software development and architecture.
• Proven expertise in designing and delivering

  AI/ML

  and

  data-driven

  solutions.
• Deep understanding of

  AWS cloud services

  , especially:

• Bedrock

• SageMaker

• Kendra

• S3

• PGVector

• Strong programming skills in

  Python

  (required), with additional experience in

  Java

  or

  Scala

  preferred.
• Solid foundation in

  data structures

  ,

  algorithms

  , and

  software design patterns

  .
• Experience in building

  ETL/data pipelines

  and working with diverse data types (structured, unstructured, semi-structured).
• Understanding of

  DevOps practices

  and

  CI/CD pipelines

  .
• Familiarity with

  Generative AI frameworks

  such as

  LangChain

  .
• Knowledge of

  AI ethics

  , bias mitigation, and responsible AI principles.

Nice to Have:
