Technical

• Confident using SQL to explore, investigate & understand data in a structured database.
• Current technologies are: Databricks, DBSQL & Data bricks Unity Catalog.
• Nice but not essential: capable of reading and understanding SQL data transformation scripts.

Functional

• Capable of taking business requirements and translating these into technical data requirements with respect to configuring the correct data access rules.
• Some background of working with financial data would be beneficial to understand the finance terminology but you don't need to be an accountant!

Soft skills

• Good English language skills are essential as this is the business language in Food and Beverage.
• Love for data and problem solving - demanding sharp analytical skills to handle/evaluate large amounts of data (strong attention to detail).
• Good communicator and a good people person given the need to collaborate effectively across teams and people of diverse backgrounds.
• Pioneer and innovative mindset required as we are shaping the future of data use within Food and Beverage comfortable with the uncomfortable.
• Working within an Agile program and project.
• Ability to operate autonomously and proactively, managing multiple deliverables at a single time in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
• Working & interacting with multiple geographies & teams throughout the globe.

The key elements of the role are:

• Being an SME of the data available in SPOT.
• Working with the stakeholders to help them define the data they would require from SPOT.
• Aligning with the SPOT Finance Product Owners in principle, on the sharing of the data the external stakeholders are requesting.
• Setting up and maintaining the data access policies with the data access management tool.
• Act as an owner in the diagnosis and resolution of any data queries and issues raised by the external stakeholders for the SPOT data that they have access to.

Additional Notes / Attachments:

• We are looking for someone in the following location: Hyderabad, India, in commuting distance of the Food and Beverage Hyderabad office located in Ranga Reddy District.
• We expect the successful candidate to be on-site in the Food and Beverage Hyderabad office at least two days a week to work with and learn from the wider team.
• Being a global team, we expect the successful candidate to be able to flex their working day to attend meetings outside of 9-5
