Data Analytics (SQL & Python) - Associate

As a Data Analytics Associate within the Corporate and Investment Banking Global Finance and Business Management organization, you will assist with the development of data and management reporting for regulatory operations. You will learn core business processes, develop metrics and management reporting, and provide decision support through ad hoc reporting and data analytics. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives that promote profitability and efficiency across the Commercial and Investment Banking organization. - Define, monitor, and report key management metrics around the health of an operations program - Manage a high-volume and high-complexity reporting & dashboarding book of work, leveraging rigorous project management discipline - Partner with senior leaders in advancing the business analysis and reporting agenda, focused on insights delivery in areas around operational efficiency, cost modeling, capacity planning, quality enhancements, etc. - Define, design, and drive high-priority strategic initiatives with senior level visibility in areas above - Develop a deep understanding of systems and processes in order to extract insights from existing data - Develop strong partnerships with business, IT application owners, and data management teams to align on a roadmap for continual improvement while providing support around in-flight projects Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills: - Hands-on experience with Programming languages: SQL, Python. Any Data visualization tool such as Qlik Sense or Tableau. Jira & MS Office - Ability to understand business problems/processes and design solutions/methodologies that are rooted in data - Effectively communicate insights/recommendations (verbal and written) with strong ownership skills - Ability to design and execute repeatable and scalable data solutions (extraction / mining / modeling / visualization) - Team player with a demonstrated strong work ethic Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills: - Good to have Knowledge of Cloud & Distributed file systems, e.g., AWS Redshift, AWS Data brick, R programming - Graduate/Post Graduate preferably with Computer/Finance/Statistics as core areas - Minimum 4 years of experience, preferably (but not mandatory) in financial services or commercial banking (Note: Shift Timing: EMEA (1 pm to 10 pm) & Location: Bengaluru),
