Data Analytics (SQL & Python) - Associate

Role Overview: You are a strategic thinker passionate about driving solutions in Financial Analysis. As a Data Analytics Associate within the Corporate and Investment Banking Global Finance and Business Management organization, you will assist in developing data and management reporting for regulatory operations. This role provides the opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives that enhance profitability and efficiency across the Commercial and Investment Banking organization. Key Responsibilities: - Define, monitor, and report key management metrics for the health of an operations program. - Manage a high-volume and high-complexity reporting & dash boarding book of work, utilizing rigorous project management discipline. - Collaborate with senior leaders to advance the business analysis and reporting agenda, focusing on insights delivery in areas like operational efficiency, cost modeling, capacity planning, and quality enhancements. - Define, design, and drive high-priority strategic initiatives with senior-level visibility in the aforementioned areas. - Develop a deep understanding of systems and processes to extract insights from existing data. - Build strong partnerships with business, IT application owners, and data management teams to align on a roadmap for continual improvement and provide support for ongoing projects. Qualifications Required: - Hands-on experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python, and any Data visualization tool (e.g., Qlik Sense, Tableau), Jira, and MS Office. - Ability to comprehend business problems/processes and create data-rooted solutions/methodologies. - Effective communication of insights/recommendations (verbal and written) with strong ownership skills. - Capability to design and implement repeatable and scalable data solutions, including extraction, mining, modeling, and visualization. - Team player with a demonstrated strong work ethic. Additional Details: Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills: - Knowledge of Cloud & Distributed file systems, e.g., AWS Redshift, AWS Databrick, R programming. - Graduate/Post Graduate degree preferably in Computer/Finance/Statistics. - Minimum 4 years of experience, preferably in financial services or commercial banking.
