You will be responsible for developing and deploying Apache Spark and Scala programs on Azure Databricks in a dynamic and challenging work environment. Your tasks will include writing analytics code, services, and components in Java, Apache Spark, Scala, and Pyspark. Additionally, you will engage in systems analysis, design, coding, unit testing, and other software development life cycle activities. Gathering requirements, understanding them, and translating functional requirements into technical tasks will be part of your role, along with providing reasonable effort estimates. Collaboration is key as you will work proactively and independently, engaging with global teams to meet project requirements. It is crucial to articulate issues and challenges in a timely manner to address project delivery risks effectively. As a member of the Dev-Ops team, you will monitor and maintain operational processes. Adherence to employment contracts, company policies, procedures, and directives is essential, including potential changes in work locations, teams, shifts, and work benefits based on business needs. Qualifications: - Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience - 3 years of experience in Python, Pyspark, Scala - 3 years of experience with MS SQL Server and NoSQL databases like Cassandra - Hands-on experience in Azure Databricks - Exposure to DevOps methodology and creating CI/CD deployment pipelines - Familiarity with Agile methodology, particularly using tools like Rally - Demonstrated ability to comprehend existing application codebase, conduct impact analysis, and update code as needed for business logic or optimization - Strong analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written Preferred Qualification: - Experience in streaming applications (Kafka, Spark Streaming, etc.) Join us in Hyderabad, Telangana, IN, and be part of our mission to make a difference in global healthcare.
