Description
As a member of the Think41 team, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day retail analytics across various aspects such as sales, margin, assortment, pricing/promotions, inventory, and returns. Your role will involve building reliable dashboards, writing clean SQL/Python, running ad-hoc deep dives, and assisting in evaluating experiments in close collaboration with business, product, and other teams. Your key responsibilities will include: - Building and maintaining executive and team dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio - Automating recurring reports and documenting metric definitions - Writing performant SQL queries (joins, window functions, CTEs) and utilizing Python (pandas/NumPy) for data wrangling and quality control - Conducting deep dives on price & promo performance, category/basket KPI shifts, stockouts/returns, conversion funnels, and cohorts - Assisting with A/B and holdout analyses, including defining metrics, conducting sanity checks, providing readouts, and deriving learnings - Collaborating with product/marketing teams on GA4/GTM tracking, validating tags, and reconciling web/app data with warehouse tables - Monitoring data freshness/accuracy, identifying issues, and maintaining playbooks/SOPs - Reviewing low-risk AI-agent suggestions, recording rationale, and escalating edge cases under guidance To excel in this role, you must have the following qualifications: - 2-3 years of experience in analytics/BI, preferably in retail/e-commerce/CPG - Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and at least one BI tool (Power BI/Tableau/Looker Studio) - Working knowledge of Python (pandas/NumPy) for data preparation and analysis, with a basic understanding of Git - Familiarity with funnels/cohorts, conversion/AOV, margin basics, and interpreting KPI movements in a retail context - Understanding of experimentation fundamentals, descriptive statistics, and ability to explain assumptions/limitations - Strong communication skills including concise summaries, structured storytelling, and stakeholder management Additionally, the following skills would be considered nice-to-have but are not mandatory: - Experience with GA4/GTM implementation audits - Exposure to Cloud Data Warehouses (BigQuery/Snowflake/Redshift) and basic concepts of dbt/Airflow - Knowledge of forecasting/promo-uplift basics (Prophet/ARIMA) and simple optimization intuition (assortment/inventory) - Experience in QA of tracking, metric governance, and lightweight scripting for automation Join Think41, an early-stage startup with a focus on building Gen AI Services & Solutions, and be a part of an all-star engineering team passionate about cutting-edge technology tools and ecosystems.,
