Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Data Analyst to join our Channel Operations team. In this role, the candidate will be instrumental in driving data-driven decision-making by analyzing complex datasets, generating actionable insights, and supporting the optimization of our trade marketing strategies and channel performance. You will work closely with various business teams to understand their needs, provide data-led recommendations, and contribute to process improvements

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive Data-Driven Decision Making:

  Spearhead the use of data analytics to inform and shape strategies for trade marketing and channel development initiatives.

• Business Ecosystem Analysis:

  Develop a deep understanding of the business ecosystem, including market trends, competitor activities, and internal performance metrics. Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify opportunities and suggest process improvements.

• Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Utilize strong skills in Excel, VBA, SQL, and Power BI to analyze large volumes of data.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance powerful BI reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

• Market Intelligence and Research:

• Conduct periodic qualitative research, including gathering market intelligence and partner feedback.
• Support qualitative findings with robust quantitative research and analysis.

• Ad-hoc Data Support:

  Assist business teams with ad-hoc data requests and analytical support to facilitate informed and timely decision-making.

• Process Automation and Streamlining:

  Identify opportunities to streamline and automate data reporting processes, improving efficiency and accuracy.

• Collaboration:

  Work collaboratively with sales, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver relevant analytical solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within a trade marketing, sales, or channel development environment.

• Technical Proficiency:

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data modeling).
• Demonstrable experience with VBA for automation and data manipulation.
• Proficient in SQL for querying and extracting data from relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI (or similar BI tools like Tableau) for creating interactive dashboards and reports.

• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

• Excellent analytical thinking and a strong aptitude for interpreting complex datasets.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights and business recommendations.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy.

  Experience in conducting both quantitative and qualitative research.
