Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing large volumes of analytical data (sales, customer, product) to identify patterns, trends, and insights. Your key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining data reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc. You will collaborate with business teams to understand key business objectives and data needs, analyze customer behavior, product usage, and historical purchase data to identify cross-selling opportunities. Ensuring that data models and structures are well-designed to facilitate analysis and reporting will be crucial. Additionally, you will act as a bridge between data engineers and business stakeholders, ensuring data is aligned with business needs. To excel in this role, you should be proficient in data engineering tools and languages like Python, SQL, and Java. A strong knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar for creating reports and dashboards is essential. You should have the ability to work with databases (SQL & NoSQL) and perform complex data queries. Familiarity with data wrangling, ETL processes, and data cleaning techniques is required. A clear understanding of data warehousing & cloud-based analytics will be beneficial. Furthermore, your ability to apply data insights to influence marketing strategies, sales tactics, and product offerings will be valuable. Ideally, you should have 2-4 years of experience in a data analyst role with a track record of analyzing customer data, sales data, and product data.
