Data Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our dynamic data team. In this role, you will be a key driver in transforming complex data into the actionable insights that power our strategic decisions. You will partner directly with critical stakeholders, including Sales, Product Owners, and Senior Management, to shape business strategy and drive performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deep-Dive Analysis & Insights:

• Conduct comprehensive, deep-dive analyses into complex datasets within

  BigQuery

  to identify key trends, opportunities, and business challenges.
• Partner with stakeholders to define, track, and interpret Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.

• End-to-End Dashboard Development:

• Design, develop, and own the end-to-end creation of insightful and user-centric dashboards exclusively in

  Looker

  .
• Optimize and maintain our

  LookML

  models to ensure data accuracy, performance, and scalability as business needs evolve.

• Data Modelling & Transformation:

• Develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, and well-documented data models using

  DBT

  .
• Build and refine data transformation logic within our

  BigQuery

  warehouse to prepare data for analysis.
• Collaborate with data engineers on data pipeline integrity and enhancements, (pipelines managed via

  Airflow

  ), to ensure reliable data ingestion.

• Collaboration & Storytelling:

• Translate complex analytical findings into clear, compelling narratives and actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and proactively deliver data-driven solutions.

• Continuous Improvement:

• Champion data quality and best practices within the organisation.
• Stay current with the latest trends in our tech stack and the broader analytics field, actively leveraging our internal

  AI-assisted tools

  to improve workflows.

Your Profile

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years

  of hands-on experience in a data analytics, business intelligence, or a related role.
• Strong, demonstrated proficiency in

  SQL

  for complex querying and data manipulation.
• Proven experience building and maintaining dashboards in a modern BI tool; direct experience with

  Looker

  is a major advantage.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or another quantitative field.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with

  DBT

  for data modelling and transformation.
• Experience working with a cloud data warehouse, especially

  Google BigQuery

  .
• Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools like

  Airflow

  .
• Working knowledge of

  Python

  (e.g., pandas, NumPy) for data analysis.
• Experience with version control (e.g., Git).
