Data Analyst

A Data Analyst is expected to have at least 5 years of experience in collection, processing, and performing statistical analysis on large datasets to uncover insights, trends, and patterns that inform business decisions. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate data into actionable strategies. Domain expertise in industries such as fintech, edtech/skilling, health-tech, or e-commerce is advantageous. Your main responsibilities will include gathering data from primary or secondary sources, cleaning and validating data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency. You will use statistical tools like Excel, SQL, R, and Python to interpret data sets, identify trends, patterns, correlations, and outliers. Additionally, you will create dashboards and visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel, and develop reports to present data-driven insights to stakeholders. Collaborating with business teams to understand their data needs and recommending strategies to optimize business performance based on analysis is also crucial. Moreover, you will maintain databases and data systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance. Identifying opportunities to automate repetitive data tasks and staying updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices for continuous improvement is essential. Required skills for this role include proficiency in Excel, SQL, and at least one of Python/R, experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to communicate complex results to non-technical stakeholders, and understanding of statistics and data modeling. The educational qualification required for this position is a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in Data Analytics/Science are considered a plus.,
