Role & responsibilities Analyze and manage large, complex datasets to support business decision-making in the financial domain. Develop intuitive and insightful dashboards and reports using Excel and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.). Translate financial data into meaningful business insights, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities. Craft impactful PowerPoint presentations that narrate data stories to various stakeholders. Work independently on data projects, taking full ownership from ideation to execution. Collaborate with product and sales teams to support data needs for strategy , especially in areas related to mutual funds, distribution. Ensure timely, accurate, and relevant delivery of analytical reports and business intelligence outputs. Required Skills & Qualifications: 24 years of experience in data analytics within the financial services industry. Strong command over Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, power query, dashboards, macros/VBA a plus). Hands-on experience with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent. Strong understanding of financial metrics and terminology, especially those relevant to mutual funds and investment products. Proven ability to simplify complex data into clear insights and visual stories. Proficiency in PowerPoint for business storytelling and executive reporting. Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently and efficiently Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in finance, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field. Understanding of the Indian mutual fund ecosystem, including product structures, distribution channels, and regulatory landscape. Experience in supporting sales or distribution teams in a mutual fund or financial advisory context is a plus.
