Dance Teacher

As a Dance Teacher at ORCHIDS The International School located on Koradi Road, Nagpur, your main role will involve instructing students in a variety of dance forms such as ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, and hip-hop. You will need to design and execute lesson plans, offer guidance on techniques and performance, and create a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere. Your responsibilities will encompass: - Developing curriculum by tailoring lesson plans according to students" age, skill level, and interests - Designing a progressive curriculum to ensure continuous improvement - Incorporating various dance styles and teaching techniques, choreography, and routines to students in individual and group settings - Preparing students for performances, recitals, and competitions You must also: - Maintain a safe and organized learning environment - Enforce studio rules and policies - Manage student behavior and effectively resolve conflicts - Communicate with students and parents regarding progress, schedules, and upcoming events Qualifications for this position include: - Proven experience as a dance instructor or performer - Proficiency in various dance styles with expertise in at least one style - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching dance This is a full-time position with day shift timings.
