The role of Dance Teacher at ORCHIDS The International School, located on Koradi Road, Nagpur, is a position exclusively for females. As a Dance Teacher, you will be responsible for instructing students in a variety of dance forms such as ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, and hip-hop. Your main duties will include designing and implementing lesson plans, offering guidance on technique and performance, and cultivating a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere. Your primary responsibilities as a Dance Teacher will include curriculum development, where you will create lesson plans tailored to students" age, skill level, and interests. You will be expected to design a progressive curriculum to ensure continuous improvement among students and incorporate diverse dance styles and techniques into your lesson plans. Additionally, you will teach dance techniques, choreography, and routines to students individually and in groups, while providing constructive feedback and encouragement to enhance their skills. Furthermore, you will be required to prepare students for performances, recitals, and competitions. Classroom management will be a crucial aspect of your role, involving maintaining a safe and organized learning environment, enforcing studio rules and policies, managing student behavior, and effectively resolving conflicts. Communication and collaboration skills are essential as you will need to regularly communicate with students and parents regarding progress, schedules, and upcoming events. Qualified candidates for this position should have proven experience as a dance instructor or performer, proficiency in various dance styles with expertise in at least one style, strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching dance.
