Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (SCM) Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Advanced Warehouse Management System (AWMS) to join our Enterprise Solutions team. The ideal candidate will bring 710 years of experience in ERP consulting, with a focus on designing, implementing, and optimizing supply chain and warehouse management solutions on the D365 Finance & Operations platform.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and technical teams to translate complex supply chain requirements into scalable solutions, driving operational excellence and measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of D365 SCM with a focus on AWMS modules (Inbound, Outbound, Inventory, Location directives, Work templates, Wave processing, Mobile device setup, etc.).
• Conduct requirements gathering workshops with business users, map processes, and design future-state solutions aligned with industry best practices.
• Configure and customize D365 SCM and AWMS functionalities, including Procurement & sourcing, Inventory management, Sales & distribution, Transportation management, Advanced Warehouse Management (wave planning, work execution, cluster picking, replenishment strategies, etc.).
• Develop functional design documents (FDDs), test scripts, and training materials.
• Collaborate with technical teams on system integrations (EDI, TMS, MES, third-party WMS solutions).
• Drive UAT, end-user training, and post-go-live support, ensuring smooth adoption and value realization.
• Provide advisory services to clients on supply chain transformation leveraging D365 capabilities, Power Platform, and AI-driven insights.
• Stay updated on Microsoft roadmap for SCM and AWMS to proactively recommend enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 710 years of ERP consulting experience, with at least 3+ years on Microsoft D365 SCM (F&O) and hands-on AWMS implementations.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes: procurement, order management, demand planning, warehousing, logistics, and inventory optimization.
• Proven experience in configuring AWMS features (location directives, work templates, replenishment, cycle counting, cluster picking, load planning, containerization).
• Experience with integrations: EDI, barcoding, handheld/mobile scanners, TMS, and external logistics solutions.
• Ability to create business process flows, functional designs, and training documents.
• Strong client-facing skills with ability to lead workshops, manage stakeholders, and influence decision-making.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Microsoft certifications in D365 SCM or Supply Chain Functional Consultant Associate preferred.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to Manufacturing (Discrete/Process) modules in D365.
• Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) for SCM extensions.
• Experience with AI/ML-based warehouse optimization or predictive supply chain analytics.
• Multi-country implementation experience with localization and compliance.
