Cyber Security Specialist

As a Cybersecurity Specialist at the Workassist Hiring Partner, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining the bank's and Vendor's security architecture. Your responsibilities will include evaluating and enhancing the security posture of the Bank/Vendor, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and maintaining ATM Logical security. **Role Overview:** - Design and implement robust security architectures for cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. - Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures across systems and applications. - Define security requirements and collaborate with relevant teams to ensure secure system design and integration. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies. - Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI-DSS. - Support audits and respond to security-related inquiries and regulatory compliance requirements. - Ensure logical controls on all bank ATM terminals align with bank standards. - Perform periodic ATM security assessments covering Vulnerability management, Host level security, etc. - Perform periodic governance of ATM logical security controls. - Serve as a security advisor to business units, IT, Business partners, Vendors, and Application teams. - Lead threat modeling exercises and provide security reviews for new systems, projects, or services. - Ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory returns, statements, and reports. - Maintain records of all regulatory submissions and correspondences with RBI. - Conduct training sessions and awareness programs on RBI regulations and compliance best practices. - Promote a culture of regulatory compliance and ethical conduct across the organization. - Collaborate with Security Operations to enhance monitoring and incident response capabilities. - Assist in the investigation of security breaches and root cause analysis. - Manage security solutions such as SIEM, EDR, WAF, IAM, etc. - Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and threat landscapes. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (Masters preferred). - 10+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity roles, including at least 5 years in a security architecture or engineering position. - Certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, CISA, AWS/Azure/GCP Certified Security Specialty, or similar.
