Cyber Security Specialist

As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for configuring and managing vulnerability scans for internal and external networks. Your expertise in identifying, prioritizing, and remediating security vulnerabilities across IT assets will be crucial in ensuring the security posture of the organization. Additionally, you will be proficient in recommending and implementing security patches, configuration changes, and risk mitigation strategies. Your role will involve working with a variety of security tools such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Threat Intelligence, Endpoint Protection, and Security Information & Event Management (SIEM), with a focus on Zscaler. You will support and build new security capabilities across different domains including cloud security, network security, and identity & access management. Cloud security will be a key aspect of your responsibilities, including design, configurations, and initial triage of cloud security alerts. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a must, while familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is desirable. You will oversee the rollout of Zscaler for secure remote access for contractors, ensuring compliance with security standards. Implementing and enforcing password complexity policies across the organization will be part of your tasks to enhance security posture. Moreover, you will design and support security awareness programs to educate employees about cybersecurity best practices, phishing, and other social engineering risks.
