Cyber Security Consultant

Job Description: As an OT Cybersecurity Consultant at NetConnect Global (NCG), you will play a pivotal role in protecting the operational technology (OT) environments from evolving cyber threats. You will lead security initiatives, conduct risk assessments, and work closely with engineering and operations teams to implement robust cybersecurity measures. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement cybersecurity policies and procedures tailored for OT environments. - Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate threats to OT systems. - Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to resolve security incidents. - Design and execute cybersecurity projects, integrating security monitoring tools and incident response frameworks. - Develop strategic roadmaps to enhance OT security posture. - Collaborate with IT, engineering, and operations teams for seamless integration of cybersecurity measures. - Communicate security risks and promote cybersecurity awareness across the organization. - Identify opportunities for innovation in OT security practices. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GICSP) preferred. - 2-3 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on OT or industrial control systems (ICS). - Strong understanding of ICS, SCADA, and OT protocols. - Proficiency in network security for OT environments, including segmentation, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and secure remote access. - Excellent communication skills for engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
