Role Overview: As a Cloud Security Specialist, your primary focus will be ensuring the security and compliance of cloud environments across various providers like AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will be responsible for safeguarding the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of cloud environments, working as the frontline defender against security threats. By leveraging your in-depth knowledge of cloud-native security tools and industry best practices, you will ensure that the environments remain resilient to evolving cyber threats. Your collaboration with the Cloud SecOps Team Lead and other security professionals will be crucial in implementing robust security measures, addressing vulnerabilities, and maintaining a secure and compliant multi-cloud environment. Key Responsibilities: - Security Monitoring: Set up and manage tools to detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents in AWS and GCP environments. - Cloud Best Practices: - Review and maintain security configurations. - Enforce least privilege and utilize cloud-native security tools like AWS Security Hub and GCP Security Command Center. - Automation: Develop scripts or tools to automate tasks such as security patching, compliance checks, and automatic remediations. - Incident Response: Lead efforts to investigate and mitigate security breaches or threats in multi-cloud environments. - Access Management: Implement secure identity and access control policies using services like AWS IAM and Google Cloud IAM. Qualifications Required: - Strong knowledge of AWS and GCP security services, cloud architecture, and familiarity with DevSecOps practices. - Skills in AWS Security, GCP Security, and Azure Security (a plus). - Proficiency in Terraform, Python/Bash scripting, DevSecOps approach, CI/CD pipelines, encryption (e.g., AWS KMS), automation, and cloud compliance (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
