Cyber Security Analyst

As a Senior Cyber Security Analyst located in NYC, NY, your primary responsibility will be to maintain Security Operations platforms according to defined standards, SLAs, and quality benchmarks. You will be required to propose, plan, and execute improvements and implement mitigations to enhance service quality and SLAs for these platforms. Additionally, you will participate in and lead technical activities for various projects and initiatives. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience working in a security operations or security engineering role with a focus on Threat and Vulnerability management. You must also have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a lead role in Cyber Security. Practical experience in creating technical documentation and diagrams is essential, as well as establishing and maintaining policies and guardrails for cloud resources and workloads. Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure is required, along with proficiency in scripting languages and cloud security practices. You should be familiar with various aspects of cloud security, including but not limited to Tenant Security, AKS Security, Containers & Mesh Networking Security, Application Gateway & WAF, Security Groups, VNET Segmentations, Security Analytics, Encryption & Keys Management. Moreover, you should have prior experience working with agile frameworks, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipeline security. Strong communication skills are crucial as you will be expected to translate technical challenges and security findings into written and oral reports. Building and maintaining Security KPIs, along with holding a degree or diploma with a focus on Information Security, are also necessary qualifications. Certifications such as CCSP, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or their equivalents are mandatory for this role. Proficiency in CI and provisioning tools like Jenkins, Docker, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, and Terraform is highly beneficial. A university degree in Engineering, MIS, CIS, or a related discipline is a must, and previous experience in managing or leading a team would be advantageous.,
