Job Description

The Cybersecurity Advisor role involves supporting the development of products and systems resilient against cyberattacks, managing risk, and advising R&D teams at Digital Buildings. As a Cybersecurity Advisor, you will be part of the Global Cybersecurity Chapter and play a crucial role in ensuring the security of the organization's offerings. In this position, you will have the opportunity to: - Deploy Schneiders SDL (Secure Development Lifecycle) to enhance the security of products. - Serve as an expert facilitator on secure design, threat modeling, and vulnerability management practices. - Be the primary point of contact for cybersecurity issues related to a portfolio of offers. - Assist product owners in defining security requirements by leveraging your expertise in relevant cybersecurity standards and regulations. - Identify and communicate potential cybersecurity risks to relevant stakeholders. - Provide guidance to product teams on security best practices for design, automation, and tool selection. - Evaluate threats and vulnerabilities associated with the organization's offerings. - Lead and coordinate cybersecurity-related initiatives within the business unit. - Introduce innovative approaches to improve efficiency and effectiveness. - Support cybersecurity certifications for sites, teams, and offerings. - Establish a network of experts internally and externally for technical reviews, risk management, and customer engagement. Qualifications for this role include: - A degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience. - Experience in application and/or platform development. - Proficiency in deploying secure development lifecycle practices to R&D teams. - Experience in leading working groups and driving change. - Knowledge of data privacy concerns. - Demonstrated competence in vulnerability management and risk-based decision-making. - Strong communication skills tailored to different audiences, including customers and business stakeholders. - Technical background to comprehend PC, cloud, and embedded product architecture, communication protocols, and networking equipment.
