Job Description

KPMG India is looking for Cyber Defense to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey Monitor and defend enterprise systems against cyber threats using SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and threat intelligence platformsInvestigate and respond to security incidents including malware infections, phishing attempts, and unauthorized access eventsPerform forensic analysis and root cause assessments of security breaches to determine impact and implement countermeasuresDesign and implement security controls, firewalls, and intrusion prevention mechanisms to harden systemsConduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk assessments to identify and remediate weaknessesCollaborate with IT, SOC, and risk management teams to enforce security policies and incident response proceduresDevelop and maintain playbooks for incident handling and disaster recovery scenariosProvide timely reporting on threat metrics, attack vectors, and response effectiveness to senior leadershipStay abreast of the evolving threat landscape and recommend new tools or practices to enhance defense capabilitiesParticipate in red/blue team exercises and simulate attack scenarios to test readiness and refine detection strategies
