Job Description

Role Overview: As a Customer Solutions Design Specialist, your role is crucial in independently executing various workstreams to create end-to-end technical designs. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that business requirements are effectively translated into deliverable solutions that meet customer needs while considering the impact on all technical and business areas. Key Responsibilities: - Capture detailed customer technical requirements and translate them into detailed solution designs following design methodologies. - Manage and recommend the technical direction to determine the optimal solution design for customers. - Review and validate processes for new developments and in-life products and services, ensuring full integration across all aspects. - Drive the improvement of design and delivery capabilities for end-to-end technical solutions. - Manage customer solution design engagement and statement of work creation, including 3rd party deliverables. - Facilitate the development of strong customer relationships at a senior level by providing specialist service design expertise. - Drive consistency in architecture and technical processes to reduce costs and increase productivity. - Undertake customer migration planning and implementation. - Coordinate impact assessments and update design documentation. - Resolve complex solution and service issues, lead root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and escalation. - Identify potential risks, implement controls and mitigations to ensure compliance with industry and company policies. - Deliver thought leadership in complex bids and agree on a strategic approach as part of customer solution design. - Mentor other customer solution designers to improve the team's abilities and act as a technical resource. - Champion, continuously develop, and share knowledge on emerging trends and changes in customer solution design.
