Customer Service Executive- Logistics

The Logistics Customer Service Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the coordination of freight forwarding operations and ensuring top-notch customer service. You will be responsible for overseeing the smooth movement of goods, handling customer inquiries, and collaborating closely with internal and external partners to enhance logistics solutions. In this role, your responsibilities will include: - Coordinating and monitoring the transportation of goods from origin to destination. - Arranging freight services via air, sea, and land, and negotiating rates with carriers and agents. - Ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations and customs requirements. - Acting as the primary point of contact for customers, providing them with timely updates on shipment status and addressing their inquiries. - Resolving customer issues such as delays, damages, and other logistics-related problems. - Cultivating strong relationships with clients to foster repeat business and uphold customer satisfaction. - Preparing and processing necessary shipping documents like bills of lading, packing lists, and customs paperwork. - Maintaining accurate records of all shipments and communications. - Analyzing and optimizing freight forwarding processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. - Collaborating with logistics and supply chain teams to streamline operations. - Staying abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes to improve service delivery. - Working closely with sales, agent, warehouse, and transportation teams to ensure coordinated efforts. - Effectively communicating with overseas agents, carriers, and service providers. This is a full-time, permanent position suitable for freshers. The job requires the candidate to relocate to Ernakulam, Kerala, with a relocation package provided by the employer.
