Customer Service and Documentation

Location: CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

* Handle customer queries related to sea freight shipments (export/import).

* Maintain professional communication via email and phone with clients and shipping lines.

* Update clients on shipment status, delays, or documentation issues.

* Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.

Documentation

* Prepare and verify shipping documents: Bill of Lading (BL), Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, etc.

* File shipping instructions with carriers as per deadlines.

* Ensure documentation compliance with customs and port authorities.

* Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, and shipping lines for timely dispatch of documents.

* Maintain accurate records and soft copies of all documents

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferably in Commerce, Logistics, or Supply Chain).

* 1–3 years of experience in customer service and documentation within logistics/freight forwarding.

* Familiarity with export-import documentation and INCOTERMS.

* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and email communication.

* Good communication and interpersonal skills.

* Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.

Preferred Skills

* Knowledge of Indian customs regulations and port procedures.

* Experience with online documentation portals (ICEGATE, DGFT, etc.).

* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Pay: ₹10,621.61 - ₹33,421.58 per month
