About The Role

Project Role :Custom Software Engineer

Project Role Description :Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

Summary:As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that application development aligns with business objectives, overseeing project timelines, and facilitating communication among stakeholders to drive project success. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, providing guidance and support to your team while ensuring that best practices are followed throughout the development process. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the direction of application projects and ensuring that they meet the needs of the organization. Key Responsibilities

Design and develop efficient and scalable data models in SAP HANA Cloud using Calculation Views and SQLScript.

Implement calculated fields, aggregations, and business logic based on Profit Center, Business Line and MRP Controller requirements.

Collaborate with finance and supply chain stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Optimize data models for performance, security, and reusability.

Ensure models are well-documented, version-controlled, and adhere to best practices.

Work with functional consultants to validate data accuracy and business alignment. Required Skills &
Qualifications

3+ years of experience in SAP HANA native development or SAP HANA Cloud.

Strong expertise in Calculation Views, SQLScript, Table Functions, Stored Procedures and scheduler jobs.

Solid understanding of SAP ERP data structures, especially BSEG (Financial Documents), MARC (Material Plant Data), MARA (Material Master), Material documents (MSEG) and ACDOCA (S4/HANA).

Experience with profit center accounting and MRP/planning-related data.

Familiarity with data modeling principles, performance optimization, and analytic privileges.

Ability to work in SAP Business Application Studio, SAP HANA Database Explorer.

Experience using Git-based source code management tools for version control and collaboration (Bitbucket).

Familiar with automated deployment pipelines for promoting changes across environments (Jenkins).

Good communication skills to work with both business users and technical teams.

Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams using Agile Scrum methodologies.
Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Native HANA SQL Modeling & Development.

This position is based at our Bengaluru office.

A 15 years full time education is required.
