Culinary Associate

As a Food Preparation Associate at JW Marriott Hotel Bengaluru, your role involves preparing ingredients for cooking, such as portioning, chopping, and storing food. You will be responsible for washing and peeling fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients. Following recipes, quality standards, and food preparation checklists, you will prepare and cook food, including cold dishes, using various kitchen equipment like ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers. Additionally, you will test foods for proper cooking and monitor food quality throughout the preparation process. It will be your duty to set up and break down your work station, serve food in correct portions, and maintain cleanliness by washing and disinfecting the kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment. Regularly checking and ensuring the correct temperature of appliances and food is also part of your responsibilities.
