About Habheal

Habheal is a digital preventive healthcare platform designed to help people live healthier, longer, and more informed lives. We focus on lifestyle improvement, early prevention, and accessible health guidance for individuals across all age groups.

Role Overview

We are seeking skilled developers in React Native for mobile application development and Java for backend service development. You will play a direct role in building the first complete version of the Habheal app, working closely with the founders and the design.

This internship is ideal for college students with strong coding skills who want hands-on experience building a real-world health-tech product from scratch.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop mobile application features using React Native
• Build and integrate backend APIs using Java (Spring Boot preferred)
• Implement key Habheal modules.
• Translate UI/UX designs into responsive mobile screens
• Optimize app performance for Android and iOS
• Debug and fix issues across UI, logic, and backend API layers
• Collaborate with the product team during daily standups and code reviews

Required Skills

• Strong coding skills in

  React Native

  (components, hooks, navigation)
• Good understanding of

  Java

  backend (APIs, controllers, database basics)
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, Git, and clean code standards
• Ability to convert designs (Figma/UI) into functional screens
• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving mindset
• Passion for mobile development and willingness to learn fast

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience with Spring Boot
• Redux / Context API
• Firebase or SQLite storage
• Basic understanding of authentication workflows
• Knowledge of health-tech or AI-based applications
