Cross Functional Technical Leader

As a Senior Cross Functional Technical Lead - Chassis at Volvo Group, you will play a crucial role in shaping sustainable transport solutions for the future. You will lead and coordinate cross-functional efforts within the Chassis team to ensure the successful delivery of product evolutions. Your focus will be on meeting quality, cost, and delivery targets while driving continuous improvement and utilizing digital tools to optimize physical build processes. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading cross-functional coordination to ensure aligned and timely project execution - Driving end-to-end planning and delivery of chassis components and systems - Managing risks and resolving technical issues through structured Root Cause Analysis - Maintaining technical timeplans and monitoring engineering releases - Ensuring stakeholder alignment through effective communication To excel in this role, you should possess: - Strong project management skills - Technical expertise in automotive development, particularly in chassis systems and truck technologies - Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience in digital transformation initiatives - Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA - Preferably a background in the automotive or transportation industry, with knowledge or interest in emerging automotive technologies You should hold a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline and have over 12 years of experience in automotive product development and cross-functional project execution.
